We’re more than just a family business—we’re a community built around a shared love of books. Meet the heart of our team: Jenni, Kailyn, and Emily.
Jenni
Our fearless founder, oversees the Avid Readers Club and Membership Development. A seasoned entrepreneur with a history of running successful businesses (including five tutoring franchises!), Jenni is also a proud mom of three, grandmother to eight, and dog mom to two very spoiled pups.
Kailyn
Jenni’s daughter, manages Member Services. A mom of two young girls, Kailyn is also a talented family and wedding photographer, juggling her passions for creativity and connection with ease.
Emily
Our Quality Control expert and Jenni’s daughter-in-law, brings her artistic flair and community-driven mindset to the team. Recently celebrating her second wedding anniversary, Emily also dedicates time to working with kids at a summer camp.
Every day is a “bring-your-kids-to-work day” here, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
How We Got Started
In 2020, as the world emerged from the pandemic, Jenni ventured into self-publishing on Amazon. (Click HERE to see some of Jenni's books.) Through this journey, she discovered a challenge faced by many independent authors: finding readers willing to engage with and review their books. Without the support of major publishing houses, these talented writers often struggle to reach their audience, leaving their stories untold.
Recognizing this gap, the Avid Readers Club was born. Our mission? To connect passionate readers with incredible books by independent authors. We invite readers to explore new genres, share their opinions, and help these books gain the recognition they deserve.
What We Do
Every day, we showcase a variety of newly published books—all free for you to keep as you grow your library. And yes, we really do pay you to read books!
This club isn’t just about books; it’s about making a difference:
- For authors, we provide a platform to find engaged readers and build their audience.
- For readers, we offer an opportunity to earn a little extra while doing something they love.
We’ve heard inspiring stories from our readers:
- One elderly reader, a shut-in, shared how our Facebook community and weekly honorariums gave her a sense of belonging and financial relief.
- A student told us her earnings helped her afford textbooks.

How It Works
Browse Available Books
Visit our Books page to see what books are currently available. We offer books in four categories:
- Today’s Free Books - Books available for free download now, but only for a limited time.
- More Readers Needed - We provide you with a PDF copy of the book and ask for your opinions.
- Coming Soon - Preview books that will be available soon.
- Join Our Waitlist - Sign up to be notified if a reader spot opens up.
Select a Book and Commit to It
Once you find a book you'd like to read, follow these steps:
- Click "Read Now" to view the book's details.
- Sign up for an account or sign in if you already have one.
- Click "Commit to Reading" to reserve your copy.
Get Your Book
Once you've committed to a book, you can obtain it in one of three ways, depending on the promotion type:
- Free Days: Download the book for free from Amazon during the promotional period.
- Not on Amazon or the Free Days period is Over: Receive a PDF copy of the book.
- Reimbursement: We will reimburse you when you purchase the book on Amazon.
Read and Share Your Opinion
After you have read the book:
- Write a thoughtful review of the book and submit it on amazon
- Submit your amazon review through our system once published on amazon
- Keep the book as part of your personal library
Get Paid
Once your submission is accepted:
- You will receive your honorarium payment for your review.
- Payments are processed every Friday by 5 PM PST.
- You can choose your preferred payment method (PayPal, Visa, Amazon, etc.).

For every book you read and submit to us, you'll receive a monetary honorarium as a token of appreciation for your time and insights.
Free books
Each book you read is yours to keep, allowing you to build your personal library with diverse titles at no cost.
